Women's Club

  • Mission:  Is to fulfill the self-development, spiritual and social needs of parish women; to be a service organization for the parish; and, to be a support group for its members.
  • History:  Women's Club is the longest standing organization in the parish.  It was established in 1975 and has been active continuously since that time.  It is open to all women of the parish, and there are no dues.
  • Meetings: General meetings are held 7PM on the 2nd Monday of each month, September through May.  Regular get-together's are held 7PM on other Monday nights for those who wish to participate in the various service, spiritual, social and fund-raising activities.  Watch for weekly notices in the parish bulletin.
  • Who to Contact? :  If you need further information, please call to parish office, or call Barbara Arndt at 480-661-5732, Marianne Ast at 602-441-2252 or Chris Ryan at 480-483-6023.
  • Church Mouse Boutique:  The Women's Club major fund-raising activity is the Church Mouse Boutique.  This event includes a craft show featuring handmade items, a Friday night preview party, a cafe serving lunch, a "Sweet Shoppe" with the finest in homemade delectables, a raffle featuring our handmade quilt and other great prizes, a silent auction with wonderful, affordable items to bid on, door prizes and 50/50, Mrs. Santa booth for the children.  Items are always needed for silent auction.
  • 2007 Entertainment Books: Books are in! $25 and includes four $5 Safeway coupons.  Proceeds are directed towards adding more handicap access on campus.
  • Gift Certificate/Scrip Information:  The order dates are typically 2nd Tuesdays for pickup the following weekend.  Per our pastor, Fr. Pat, "If every family in the parish purchased only $50 of gift certificate/scrip per week, we would net $250,000 per year!  The cost to those who support the program is nothing!  Stop by the table in the courtyard after Masses or the Parish office.  Using scrip is a very worthwhile and easy, no-cost way to support your parish."
