SK John Tobin-

Our Brother Sir Knight John Tobin informed the Council that August 2009 will see the Arizona State Knights of Columbus hosting the International Knights of Columbus Convention. This is a monumental occasion that will require years of planning to accomplish. Cardinals, Bishops and Knights of Columbus Dignitaries will be here in Scottsdale and the Council will be called on to assist. Please contact SK John Tobin for the latest developments.

Grand Knight Tony Bell's Message

My Brother Knights and Families,

Many thanks to all of you who helped out at the Mary’s Knights rummage sale.  The event was a big success and your time & effort was much appreciated.  The Knight of the Month for January 2008 goes to all the folks who worked at the Rummage sale.  I would like to acknowledge everyone, but I don't want to miss anyone.   Again, thank you.

Mark your calendars for our upcoming Fish Fries at Blessed Sacrament.  This event is a tradition at Blessed Sacrament and they are always well attended.  They will be every Friday during Lent from 4:30pm to 7pm (except Good Friday).  If you aren’t already volunteering, please try to find some time.  If everyone chips in it can be an enjoyable event for all involved.  Please see the Fish Fry section later in the bulleting for more details

Our Car Raffle will begin Feb 3rd with the drawing to held on Fathers Day, June 15th 2008

And don’t miss our K of C Basketball Free Throw contest which will get underway February 10, 2008.

Our next Social night will be February 25th.  Get your reservations in early.
